The BT delivered strong on-water performance, with an excellent ride and a true shallow draft of around 7 inches loaded, but the ownership experience was mixed. Early issues included trailer bearing failure, rigging mistakes that caused engine problems, and several fit-and-finish concerns, and the biggest frustration was weak customer service after the sale, especially for an out-of-state buyer. Overall, it sounds like a very capable skiff, but one that came with enough post-purchase headaches to make the owner wish they had spent more on another brand.
